Geospatial Surveying

Utilising the latest technologies from Trimble, John Henry Group is now able to offer comprehensive digital street scene mapping expertise to enable faster, accurate planning of next generation networks and associated street works.

Utilising Trimble, a world leader in geospatial mapping technology, we are able to enable pinpoint accuracy during the survey process, utilising the MX-7 technology to record the entire digital image of streets in a ‘Google-streetview’ type format. The data is then analysed by our planning representatives to ensure accurate ‘as-builts’ and further measurements are realised for our clients.

Once imagery has been captured by our digital survey vehicle, our in-house editing teams are able to utilise and develop imagery of the entire street scene, which can be used in the planning and delivery of ‘as-builts’ for our clients or planning teams.

The digital survey teams operate powerful, specially modified computer software which ensures we are accurately able to map measurements ahead of any network build, to the nearest millimetre, negating the risk of re-measure by hand.
