UK CIVIL ENGINEERING and communications experts the John Henry Group have signed up to Geo-sight, a revolutionary new health and safety management application, after completing an initial 12 month development trial.
As an initial development partner, JHG has been pivotal in helping Geo-sight develop the app for Geo-sight’s customers, with its civil engineering team using the application on both iPhone and Android to improve health and safety and productivity on its work sites.
Geo-sight allows real-time capture of pictures of any workplace environment through a smartphone, which is then geo-stamped with date, time and location on a map, before being submitted to a tamper-proof, secure cloud for review.
Health and Safety, HR and site management teams can remotely access all of the images captured by their staff through their own secure cloud account. John Henry Group’s Group PR and Marketing Manager Rob Andrews, said: “Geo-sight has proved to be fundamental tool in helping to refine and develop the health and safety standard across our UK-wide operation.
“Our work force is now using the application to not only record potential dangers on site and gain a second opinion as to whether they should be entering the site, we have found that Geo-sight is an excellent project management tool which can be used to monitor project success.
“Geo-sight has allowed health and safety, HR and company leadership team to sleep safely at night knowing that our entire workforce is monitoring its workflow progress, whilst making sure our workforce is working safetly.”
