Congratulations to Longstanton office receptionist, Kay Sterne, who has won the John Henry Group’s Rewarding Excellence Initiative award for July 2017.
Kay, who joined John Henry Group in May 2016, was presented with her award by Pat Henry who nominated her for the award as a result of her outstanding dedication and commitment to her role.
Launched in April 2017, The Rewarding Excellence Initiative seeks to recognise outstanding colleague performances each month at the John Henry Group.
Each colleague receives a vote and writes a testimonial in favour of a fellow member of staff, with directors choosing a winner from the submissions.
In his nomination for Kay, Pat wrote: “Kay has a great professional attitude to visiting customers. Has been nominated several times before, so I think deserves the award now.”
Kay, who wins vouchers and was presented with a Rewarding Excellence Certificate, said: “Thank you – this was totally unexpected, especially to be rewarded for something I love doing.
“Since my time at John Henry Group, I have thoroughly enjoyed my receptionist position.
“I get to deal with so many different scenario’s happening every day and I have built up a lot of great relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
“Again can I just thank everyone for making each day a good one.”
Kay joins fellow winners Chris Sooknanan (April), Kate Meehan (May) and John Reilly (June) as winners of the Rewarding Excellence Initiative.
All of them will be entered into the champions’ draw, which will see all winners from the course of the year get the chance to win a weekend break for two at a luxury hotel.
