John Henry Group, today (Monday, February 5th, 2018), announces plans to set in motion a strategic company vision which will underpin an ambitious growth agenda and lay the foundation for continued business success.
The strategic vision, which includes a new proposed Target Operating Model (TOM) and the implementation of company-wide values, forms a key part of the John Henry Group’s Organisational Development Programme (ODP), a wider company agenda which will aim to introduce a new company structure, whilst empowering its staff and provide ongoing efficiency in company performance on behalf of clients and strategic partners.
John Henry Group released its new values and strategic vision first to staff, last week at the Recharging Our Future event, hosted in Cambridge – colleagues got the chance to view the new TOM and engage with the company values over the two-day conference.

John Henry Group, has experienced considerable growth throughout the past two years, growing nearly 35% year on year.
The business now employs in excess of 1,050 people across more than half a dozen major office locations covering the breadth of the United Kingdom, specialising in the delivery, upgrade and maintenance of next generation utilities infrastructure.
John Henry Group CEO Pat Henry, comments: “We are proud to have drafted a proposed TOM, with the aim of essentially futureproofing our business infrastructure to ensure the focus of commercial efficacy on behalf of our clients and our people continues.
“There is always a danger that with such incredible growth, the infrastructure in the business – its people, systems and processes – can suffer, which in turn can impact on client programme delivery and colleagues’ morale.
“We aim to introduce major changes in improved account management for our clients and our supply chain, with the introduction of specialist programme directors and account managers to oversee networks rollout and work schedules for the delivery, maintenance and upgrade of next generation infrastructure.
“The basis of our new strategic vision is to be the leading provider of infrastructure solutions for our partners delivering sustainable growth through our excellent people, innovation and service”
New company values:
John Henry Group has not only redefined its company structure, securing the appointment of senior level expertise, it has set out a new corporate vision statement, which it has shared amongst its employees and it now uses as a basis to deliver future market offerings and refine its delivery USPs.
We are proud to introduce a new set of company values: Excellence, Forward Thinking and Together, each chosen based on an extensive employee feedback survey. Values will remain critical in the company’s mission to continue to deliver a market leading service outlining the principles for how we ‘do business’ and the interactions amongst colleagues and with clients.

NB: It is our intention to make these changes, we are currently in a consultation period which we anticipate will complete early March. We will formally communicate the changes which are set to be implemented on completion of this process both to clients and colleagues. Business will continue as usual between John Henry Group’s clients and throughout its supply chain whilst the new target operating model (TOM) is realised and integrated into the business.
