John Henry Group announces today (Wednesday, January 17, 2018) the appointment of Barry Canfield, who joins the business as a Non-Executive Director.
Having qualified as a chartered accountant with globally recognised accountancy and business advisory firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Barry, now an FCA, spent 20 years in practice and brings extensive experience of audit, mergers and acquisitions, gained during his time both in practice and in industry.
He initially became involved with the John Henry Group in 2015, in conjunction with the private investment from Growth Capital Partners (GCP), which is supporting careful business growth within our organisation – Barry worked as a consultant to John Henry Group.
His new permanent position will enable him to lend specialist expertise in supporting some of the major commercial decision making and other commercial project-led new market initiatives.
“John Henry Group is a fantastic business and there are lots of opportunities within the market for this company – this is one of the reasons I was attracted to the role,” Barry said.
“This is not a role that’s necessarily assigned to one particular area, there will be many examples, such as working and advising on systems and processes.
