CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – DRIVERS of heavy vehicles in East Anglia can rest a little easier knowing that if they break down, the arrival of WFL Specialist Garage and Recovery’s new custom built heavy duty s wrecker truck will be on hand to pull them out of the most difficult situations.
Boasting a powerful 380bhp engine, the new £200,000 truck has a train weight of more than 95 tonnes.

The specialially modifed DAF CF85 truck is the latest addition to the John Henry Group’s sister company WFL’s fleet and it can be used to recover or move the heaviest articulated lorries, coaches and buses and joins WFL’s existing fleet of 22 vehicles including heavy plant trailers, bulker tippers and specialist recovery vehicles.

“This head duty recovery vehicle will allow us to continue offering a market leading service to our clients with our specialist heavy-lifting equipment, capable of helping to move some of the heaviest trusts out of tricky situations.

WFL already offers a specialist fleet of moving massive loads out of the most tricky situations, as well as a specialist VOSA licensed testing and maintenance facility in Cambridge.
