CAMBRIDGE, UK – John Henry Group’s Geo-sight safety and performance technology has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Cambridge Digital Awards.
Geo-sight allows employees to record site problems and set KPIs on smartphones, with the aid of a special smartphone app, which in turn, works with a special cloud system where the data is time and date stamped and recorded.

The app is already being used to safeguard workers UK wide across the John Henry Group and Avanti Highways Services and is also available to download for the commercial marketplace, where it has been developed in conjunction with a trial with broadband giant Virgin Media, one of John Henry Group’s clients.
The app also has further implications, which allow for evidential pictorial capture purposes, which can help road workers to identify, mitigate or avoid hefty fines for improper site management
Established in 2015, the Cambridgeshire Digital Awards is part of series of similar schemes looking to reward innovation and progressive thinking by businesses, individuals, events, charities or educational establishments.
Winners span several industries and range from individuals to national companies, but all have at the core of their entry a desire to use digital media as a means to achieve greater things for their business.
The Cambridgeshire Digital Awards will take place on 19 November 2015 at the Burgess Hall, St Ives.
