London Office’s Chris Sooknanan, the winner of the John Henry Group’s first Rewarding Excellence Initiative award, was presented with his award by Pat Henry at head office this morning (Tuesday, May 9th).
Chris received several nominations for his commitment to the business over the past month but directors felt that the nomination comment from his colleague Jan Chown, who also works in London, was the winner.
Jan wrote of Chris:
“Even when Chris is really busy he will always help out with any queries I have – although he manages cables and my queries have been civil!!! He would also appear to work from home in the evenings as I constantly have emails from him each morning. He has been a great help whilst our planner is on holiday. Introducing myself and Natalie ( been here 3wks) to conference calls and explaining all that Virgin are asking and reasoning behind this. Chris has consistently been supportive to all staff at Brentwood bearing in mind that we only really formed as a new office last July.”
Also receiving his own choice of M&S vouchers for his win, Chris said he’ll share them with his colleagues, to buy them lunch at the London office.
Chris’ picture will feature in the next staff Magazine John Henry CONNECTIONS (released June 2017), alongside May and June’s award winners.
More than 50 nominations were received for the first award – thank you to everyone who voted.
May’s Rewarding Excellence Initiative vote will open shortly. All colleagues have one vote each month to nominate someone who has gone the extra mile across the course of that month.
